Earthquakes (magnitude 5 or more, 1975–2025) and Holocene volcanoes of one of the five regions of the plate detective exercise, without plate boundaries: finding them is the exercise. Epicentres are coloured (and shaped, for greyscale printing) by depth class: 0–70 km, 70–300 km and 300–700 km. The size of the points shows the magnitude.
